Fun

I really enjoy this app. Being able to record and save and then share my trails is cool. Apps like this make getting outside fun.

Great hiking app.

Im really glad someone told me about this app. Its been really helpful.

More bugs on the app than the trail

I want to love the app, but it constantly force closes. Also, each time it does force close, it logs you out and you must sign in again. If these problems were remedied I would give the app four stars and even consider purchasing the full version. However, if the free version has these problems, I dont want to risk spending any dough to be disappointed.

Awesome App

This is my go to app for finding and reviewing trails. Have not tried the pay version yet but I am thinking about it. Very interested in being able to download maps and use them offline.

Love it!

I only use the free version but I love it!!! Such a great tool for finding new trails and info from people that have completed them.

Best app to find hiking spots

I recently got into hiking, and downloaded several apps to find trails. This is my favorite. Its easier to use than any of the others, and Ive been very happy with it so far.

Great app

I love this app. It tracks your progress as you are hiking to give you all the information in real time. Great for exploring other trails in the area when you come to a fork in the trail. I have the pro app now and it is worth it

Must have app!

I love the outdoors and have been using AllTrails for years now. New version of the app is amazing. Keep it up!

Favorite Outdoor App

Still the best app for finding and researching trails!

Great for hiking

A great app that helps you find trails near you, lets you record your route, upload photos and review trails.

Great app

This app is very useful, easy to use, and makes my hiking trips a breeze to plan.

Great but crashing constantly

Love this app, but current version crashing constantly in 9.3.1. Unusable.

Only Good Hiking App

This app is great for wanderers in a particular location to share their reviews and photos of certain trails. It is a very solid app with a wonderful foundation. I would like to see more trails added to the database. Also upgrading to Pro is rather useless. It really doesnt offer anything.

Terrible directions, wrong street map

I dont understand why is everyone giving this app 5 stars - probably because these reviews are written by people who never walked the trails this app is listing. Lets take a look at Long Pond Greenbelt Trail: First of all the app is sending you through nonexisting streets and private properties. Pond rd. doesnt exist and most of Sprig Tree Path is demapped 30 years ago. When you press direction button it redirects you to Google maps pointing to head of the trail which is actually somebodys house. Trail map for most parts has nothing to do with reality. Google maps has a perfect data of public trails... Dont bother with Alltrails - it will get you in trouble for trespassing on private land

Love this app.

Works great even with no service. At least well enough to save me a couple of times when I lost the trail. Awesome app

Worth it

Great app with pretty accurate maps. Trail descriptions can be a little lacking in detail, but reading other hiker reviews its easy to get a better idea of a trails true and current description. The GPS is pretty accurate and I LOVE how it tracks time moving from total time automatically. No pausing for photos etc. Awesome access to other hikers trails too! Ive used other peoples tracks to find side trails, running trails, night hike trails, etc. Gps tags all photos too and shows them in tracks location. Pretty neat. I find it useful for making my own maps when running in town. Tracks speed (avg speed & max speed) Every update the app improves. I do wish it had more user interactivity features in the app and you cannot update your profile pic thru the app which can be frustrating.

Leeching off the community

I pulled this app down looking for more details on one particular hiking trail. Nice chart, until I compared it with the official map from the park. The official map just didnt have trail distances like this app did. But this map was very incomplete and even wrong in places. The authors didnt validate or develop a method of vetting user-submitted data, yet they feel like they can charge a high, annual fee simply so that I can go off grid. This is just like the atrocity that GraceNote did with the ID3 database when they commercialized user contributions that were given freely. No value added for your money. If I could get a discount on the yearly subscription by validating trails, I might buy that, but this is poor execution of an attempt to capitalize on the work of others. Going in the deleted pile.

All Trails

Ive used this app several times while traveling and have really enjoyed the walks that I otherwise would not have known about. I really like that I can download the maps

Good, lacking one key feature

I like this app for browsing weekend hiking possibilities, and plan on using it to track my own trails soon, but I wish it was more interactive. More specifically, Id like to be able to browse through a regional map of trails, and then be able to select different trail routes/ add trail options onto the advertised main trail in the area. It would help me plan if I could add or subtract parts of trails while planing future hikes for myself, and then be able to see the final mileage of your specific route.

Needs Sharing and Title Case Fix

Amazing app... so Ill nit-pick. Needs social sharing so we can tell our friends about our hikes and... Needs To Fix The Annoying Title Case Default On Everything
